As a strong advocate of effective Case Management, Donna plays an integral role in Novia Strategies’ Care Management Transformation practice. Her results-driven approach, coupled with her inspirational leadership style, make her a strong partner for clients as they seek to drive down costs and markedly improve their case management and care redesign capabilities.
Donna has focused much of her career on developing an enviable track record in case management and care redesign, having held senior positions with a variety of healthcare providers as well as with consultancies, leading successful case management and care redesign implementation projects for clients across the country.
Donna built her extensive career on a solid nursing foundation before proceeding to a variety of leadership roles. She spent a number of years in healthcare administrative and consultancy roles with providers across the country expanding her expertise in Case Management within and across multiple hospital systems. Together, this has enabled her to develop a significant breadth and depth of experience in healthcare operations and in the case management field specifically, making her a valuable addition to the expanding Novia team of 150-plus professionals. In addition to spanning the continuum for case management as an executive for University Health System, her previous administrative positions include System level positions in both the Baptist and CHRISTUS Health systems.
Education and Qualifications
Donna holds a Master of Science Nursing degree from the University Of Texas Medical Branch Graduate School Of Nursing. She is also a member of the American Case Management Association (ACMA), the Case Management Society of America (CMSA), and the Association of Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialists (ACDIS). She has been certified as a Case Management Administrator through the New England Center for Case Management since 1999.
