Jennifer’s passion for optimizing new technology – especially, care-oriented technology such as SmartPumps® – makes her an ideal partner for clients embracing technology as a means of improving their quality and cost of patient care. With a background in critical care nursing, administrative leadership positions and healthcare consulting, Jennifer possess an acute understanding of the challenges and opportunities hospitals face as they strive to deliver outstanding patient care while maintaining fiscal health.


With her extensive experience, Jennifer leads a variety of projects for clients across the country, including technology optimization, non labor, clinical supply costs, contract penetration, and product utilization, product standardization, and clinical trials of commodity products. With a career in healthcare that spans more than 20 years, Jennifer’s passion for system-wide operational improvements has resulted in successful outcomes in the a variety of departments, including Medical Surgery, Cardiac Catheter Laboratory, and the Operating Room. She is a seasoned expert in performing assessments, facilitating rapid-cycle implementation of evidenced-based best practices, building consensus across multi-disciplinary and multi-facility teams, and guiding healthcare organizations across the country through complex projects.


Prior to consulting, Jennifer held various leadership positions in community hospitals, multi-hospital healthcare systems, and long-term care facilities where she led the development and implementation of several complex, sustainable programs such as Linen Conservation, Blood Management, and Standardization of Vascular Access. She also managed projects for a six-hospital system in which she implemented recurring annual non labor cost savings initiatives of over $12 million dollars. She served as the Director of Nursing Administrative and Support Services for Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.

Education and Qualifications

Jennifer holds a Master of Management in Healthcare from Troy State University in Troy, Alabama, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. Jennifer is a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Alumnus and is active in several professional organizations.
